The Choirs There has been a choir at St. Alphege Church, Solihull for many years. Stability and continuity are provided by the fact that the recently retired Organist and Master of Choristers has been in charge for over 30 years and some of the men in the choir have been attending for even longer. The choir pride themselves on being one of the best Parish Church choirs in the UK, having a complement of 20 or so boy trebles and 17 men, some 8 of whom are ex-Trebles, having come up through the ranks of the boys. Past members of the choir have gone on to great things. One is a past member of the King Singers. For many years the choir has undertaken to fill in for a cathedral choir during the first week of the school summer holidays.
