Choir Week at Exeter Cathedral 2006

The boys and men travelled to Exeter to take up residence at the cathedral during the week of 24th – 31st  July. The boys with some adults stayed at the cathedral choir school, just a stone’s throw from the cathedral. There were practices every morning and a service each evening, usually Choral Evensong. The music list is shewn below and included music by three of our number, Stark, Payne and Bates:

The boys had the use of the school gym and playground and had outings to the pictures, swimming and Crealy Adventure Park. A hard working but enjoyable week. Many people commented on the high standard of singing and were amazed that we didn’t have a choir school of our own!
